2023 Commencement Dates & Times

McGovern Medical School - Friday, April 28 12 noon NRG Arena

School of Biomedical Informatics - Tuesday, May 9 4pm Rice University Stude Concert Hall

Cizik School of Nursing - Thursday, May 11 11am Smart Financial Center

School of Public Health - Friday, May 12 2pm NRG Center

School of Dentistry - Friday, May 19 10am NRG Arena

Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences - Saturday, May 20 10am Rice University Shepherd School of Music

Orders must be received before April 1 (by March 15 for McGovern Medical orders) to avoid a $25 late fee and individual shipping costs. EXCEPTION - McGovern Medical orders must be received by March 15 to avoid the $25 late fee!! All rental regalia will be distributed on a hanger pressed and ready to wear at the commencement site just prior to the ceremony. All rental gowns, hoods and tams must be returned immediately after your ceremony at the commencement site. If you rented a tam you must return the velcro attached tassel. Do not keep the tassel!

*During checkout, you will fill in "ship to" information which can be indicated by your commencement site location. No regalia will be shipped to you - all orders will be distributed and picked up at your commencement site just prior to the ceremony. If you place an announcement order please be certain to include an actual physical address in "ship to" for UPS delivery of your order.

For "Date order needed" - please specify May 1 at checkout (April 1 for McGovern Medical orders). This is an arbitrary date. You will not receive your regalia prior to this date. All rental regalia will be delivered and distributed pressed and ready to wear at the commencement site just prior to the ceremony. No exceptions to this delivery schedule.

The "FREESHIP" promotion is not available on these orders. Any combined orders must include all names of graduates with their corresponding sizes in the comments section of the checkout so that all regalia can be properly labeled and all students accounted for.

FREE SHIPPING IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO DDS STUDENT ORDERS - NO OTHER ORDERS! If you chose free shipping and you are not a DDS student you will receive a PayPal invoice for the appropriate shipping & handling fee which must be paid for your order to be processed! The regalia still has to be shipped to and from the commencement site.

Order by March 31 (March 15 for McGovern Medical orders) to avoid a $25 late fee THAT WILL BE ADDED TO the individual shipping costs.
